About the event

Whether you’re new to yoga or a qualified teacher, we guarantee that you will come away from the Yoga Evolved Festival with new knowledge and skills you can apply immediately.

At Yoga Evolved we looked at the things that frustrated us when we started practicing yoga, then designed an event to fix them! So often students can find themselves practicing regularly with different teachers at different studios, but never feel like they’ve had the basics explained. Options are given to come into an arm balance or inversion, but how?! By the time you’ve watched everyone else do it the class has moved on!  We have structured this event to be the ideal development arc:

· The day begins with a creative, energising morning flow

· Then three fun, accessible workshops breaking down everything from chaturanga to handstands

· All workshops at the festival will be taught by 500 hr teachers of teachers

· Next, a strong vinyasa flow pulling together all the day's teachings in a ‘live’ environment

· The day ends with a well-earned restorative Gin Yin workshop!

Whatever your current ability level, we guarantee you will come away with some valuable insights from the day. We’re so confident of this that if you don’t we will refund your ticket!

‘This sounds great, but I can’t do six classes in one day!’

Although we have structured the day to be a perfect learning flow, we understand that most people will not have the energy or desire to do six practices in one day! That’s why we have a variety of alternative workshops and activities on the timetable. As the event is held at Lee Valley White Water Centre, we have access to numerous water activities at a 2012 Olympic venue. Alternative activities include:

· Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP)

· Inspiring talks

· A breathwork workshop taught by resident Olympian Adam Burgess

· A host of water sports, from white water rafting to canoe slalom

There are also numerous chill-out areas if you want to take a complete break from the action, including a café overlooking the London 2012 Olympic Canoe Slalom course.

‘I’d love to come but I don’t have anyone to go with’

If you’re a regular yoga practitioner you may have had the experience of attending classes for months, but far from building a new social circle, you realise you don’t even know any of your fellow yogi's names! At Yoga Evolved Events we aim to be different. We pride ourselves on putting on London’s most welcoming and social yoga events. Many new lasting friendships have been formed at our events, plus each one ends with a social activity, the perfect chance to connect and discuss the day's activities.

All our teachers are hand-picked by Yoga Evolved Head Honcho Jamie Rylett to ensure they are all friendly, approachable, and keen to answer any questions you may have. Our events have a very different vibe from a studio class. Teachers often comment on what a joy it is to teach a class full of positive people who are happy to be there, this is not always the case in studios!

Raquel Jiminez - @jimenez_700

“Yoga Evolved is special - the classes are amazing: fabulous teachers with deep knowledge. However, the best part is the sense of community and belonging - a supportive, friendly and welcoming atmosphere where participants get to know each other and friendships are forged.”

Iris Hanking @yoga_perspectives

“I’ve had the most wonderful experience at Yoga Evolved, having a chance to practice yoga with great teachers and people alike. Thank you lots!!!”

Simona Majauskaite @siemkuteee

‘Tickets must be really expensive if they include all this?’

Not at all! We’ve always tried to make Yoga Evolved Festival tickets as affordable as possible. Even after our expenses increased due to COVID, we are still offering early bird tickets for £30, around the price of one workshop or SUP session in London! Compared to the price of doing these workshops and classes as separate events you are making a saving of over £100! And when you consider how many months of studio classes it would take to acquire this knowledge then can you afford not to come?

Is there really a 100% money-back guarantee?

Yes! We’re so sure that you will come away from the event with a stronger practice that we will refund your ticket if that is not the case! Just send us an email and we’ll give you your money back. We wouldn’t take this risk if we weren’t absolutely convinced you’ll benefit from the event.

The day in a nutshell

If you’re a yoga practitioner looking to expand your knowledge and meet like-minded people in an inclusive, fun environment, then this is the event you’ve been waiting 18 months for! So grab yourself a discounted early bird ticket now and start preparing for a unique day of development!
